Exit Feeding Program
So I am a little late posting this one. Bailey had her feeding evaluation Monday afternon and we all agreed to let her go ahead and exit the program. She isn't cured but there really isn't much else they can do for her. I'm glad to be getting her out of the program but I still worry about the future since she still hates solid food in general.
I failed to gather all the stats but she did weigh in at 30.9 inches, which is down to the 75 percentile and is terrific. Her head circumference is still at the 100 percentile and her height was just below the 50 percentile, both are relatively unchanged.
We can eliminate the formula at any time and reduce her bottles to meals only to encourage more interest in solids. Since she still has 5 missing teeth, I have a feeling it will be a while before we make anymore real progress.
She continues to spit up sporadically and I think that will continue. We did spectulate whether she overeats with her bottles but there is no evidence yet. I see more evidence of being tied in with her teething more than anything else.
