First Snow

Well I meant to get this done earlier today but with the kids home and school chaos along with science fair chaos, I was overwhelmed. Bailey enjoyed her first real snowfall today. After going through a dry spell the past 3 years (thanks global warming), this was our first significant snowfall. It was a whopping 1.5 inches but I'll gladly take that over nothing. We had freezing rain mixed with sleet all day long so it made playing in it not as appealing but she managed to get outside several times today to have some fun. She went cross country sledding on her own. It's amazing how fast that sled takes off over ice and snow and it does not stop until something stops it. We had to run after her 3 times today. It was hilarious though and reminded me so much of the trip Bradley took.

I'll have to add a picture (or two) later. I have tons of school work to get done and I am falling behind quickly already. I'm almost afraid to go to sleep at night in fear that I won't get to finish my work in time. Poor Bailey will have to keep herself entertained tomorrow.

I also need to add a post about her first Monster Truck Show. She was a bit scared initially but after we gave her Bradley's headpones, she calmed right now. I can tell she wasn't nearly as excited about the whole experience like the boys were but she enjoyed it anyway.
