I won, it's my birthday...

This is just a little Bailey humor. I took Bradley and Bailey to the playground this afternoon/evening while Patrick did his Tae Kwon Do. Bradley wanted to race her down the slides and Bailey's small size helps her to slide down faster. Bradley tells her, "You won, Bailey." Her reply was , "It's my birthday." I about fell over on that response. Of course it was in her own language and it took me a couple of seconds to translate it. It was just so funny.

Now for some Bradley humor. After playing, we headed to the car to go get Patrick. I clicked on the automatic unlock button and the car next to mine unlocks. It's getting dark outside and the colors and models are similar. Bradley opens the other car's door to go inside and then stands there confused. I have never had that to happen before!

Things are going okay. It is a constant struggle to get any solids in Bailey but she will break down and have a few nibbles here and there sometimes. I would love to put her back in feeding therapy but after our last two tries, I am very apprehensive about it. I am hoping to wait this out until her feeding eval before approaching the subject again.

She did spit up again over the weekend but it was only once and then it was all over with. Unfortunately this time she hit the bullseye on the sofa pillows and cushions, some stuffed animals, and the floor. I don't think she sensed this one coming.

She knows some counting and what 1, 2, and 3 are of something. She knows she is two years old. She still recognizes 6 letters of the alphabet (B, M, O, W, Q, U). She can take her shoes and jacket off all by herself. She can get her own cheese and drink out of the refrigerator, brings me a diaper when she wants changing, picks out some of her own clothes, feeds Sally, finishes her puzzles with ease, knows her colors, washes her own hands, insists on wearing a hat while outside, keeps her hands in her pocket to keep them warm, and swings like a pro. Pretty soon she won't need me around for much anymore. :(
