More spitting up and a surprise
Well, I hope this is all only teething related. Within 5 minutes of Bailey finishing her morning bottle, it all comes back up. She came up to me and seemed distressed and a second later, it was coming up. She was a bit upset but recovered quickly. Now she is trying a toaster strudel instead. I really hope this is all due to teething and not something else. She has been coughing a lot lately and her appetite has been sporadic. All she ate yesterday were french fries for lunch and three chicken nuggets for dinner. I guess that is better than some days where she didn't eat anything. She has those four incisors coming in and two of them are already through. I'll be glad once this round of teething is over!
Now for the big surprise... drum roll...
We may be some crazy parents but here it is! Steve was at Sam's yesterday during lunch and found the Step 2 Grand Walk In Kitchen on clearance for $99. OMG, this thing was selling for $270, and Sam's was selling it for $199. That is half off, which is how much they were clearancing all of their toys leftover from Christmas for. He called and I thought it was too good of a deal to pass up. We would never find this good quality for this price. So he agreed and picked it up. I didn't say a word to the kids. After he gets home, we show Bailey what was in the back of his truck. As we were bringing it in the house, it finally clicked what it was and she was so excited! She couldn't wait for us to finish putting it together to start playing. Bradley enjoyed playing in it as well and showed Bailey what it was all about. They played together for quite a while. We moved around stuff in her room and moved it up there. It IS an early birthday present and I told her and the boys that. I can't justify buying something that enormous the day after Christmas but it was too good of a deal to pass up. And we have no where to store something that large. It is missing some minor parts so we will need to call and have them delivered. It is an awesome kitchen though. I'll post pictures next!
