Fast Learner
It amazes me how quickly Bailey absorbs new information. She has figured out what the word butt looks like. If she sees the word on the refrigerator, she points to it and says butt. Of course, you can tell she has 2 big brothers who think that is the funniest thing they have ever heard. So that word is frequently displayed now. She loves the letter H and keeps pulling it off the refrigerator. She tells me when she spots a McDonalds or when she sees the letter M (or even W) and informs me that it's for french fries.
She is drawing a little better now also. She can draw a circle and triangle. She doesn't know her shapes just yet though. She has good spacial sense so I imagine it won't be hard for her to pick up on it when she is ready.
Her little brain thinks on a higher level than she can speak so it's hard to tell what she is trying to communicate to us at times. She remains patient through most of it.
I can give her instructions and she can retain it for a few minutes then follow through exactly. Even the boys have a hard time doing that!
She absolutely loves to wash dishes, always has. She does a pretty good job with it now. I leave her bottle parts to soak and she will drop by to clean them so all I need to do is rinse.
Those are just some examples of how she amazes me. I often wonder what each day will bring us.
