Recovering
Bailey is 18 months old today! She is recovering from her ear infection and still holds her ear at times but doesn't seem to be in any pain from it. She has her 18 month check up tomorrow so we will get an update on how well it is healing.
More spit up last night...She drank her bottle and I put her to bed. She was restless after a few minutes so I picked her up. She continued to be restless. She had a normal burp and then a minute later the whole bottle comes back up, all over both of us. At least we spared the bed and carpet.
Her ph probe is scheduled for March 7th at 8am. It's going to be rough getting us all out of the house by then. We will probably be gone before Patrick gets on the bus. Steve is going to see about taking a medical day for it so it won't affect his vacation days. The hospital probably does not carry her special formula so we will need to pack plenty of it for her. I'll probably try to pack some yogurt and other treats for her just in case she might want to try it. I heard they have a playground area on the roof and a playroom to help keep her entertained while we are there. Hopefully Bradley will help keep her happy through this because they said it can be quite boring.
She has a follow up appt with her GI doctor on March 22nd and then we will find out if we need to do the endoscopy.
Oh some good news! I got her to eat 1/2 ounce of Dora yogurt last night. I couldn't use a spoon but she did let me feed her using the nubby. She even enjoyed chewing on it and dipping it herself a couple of times. She also ate about 1tbsp of spag. o's and licked some icing off her cupcake.
