Sick...yet again
Monday night Bailey starts fussing, she is very warm, and won't be consoled. I cannot get a bottle with meds in her. I reluctantly try Tylenol by itself and it causes instant gagging and vomiting for over 5 minutes. After more fussing and screaming, she finally sleeps for 30 minutes and then up crying again. This continues into the morning when I can finally call the doctor and schedule an appt. Once there they give her a Tylenol suppository and after checking her out, we find it's some kind of virus going around. We were told to continue the suppositories, 160mg every 4 hours as needed.
This morning she was doing so much better, minimal fussing, drinking bottles then lunchtime, it all stops. By afternoon she was running a fever again. She takes a bottle with her nap. She wakes too early, is fussy. I'm sick of this routine so I let her fuss about it for a couple of minutes, I scoop her up and the bottle comes up, all of it. Again, I am sick of this routine! This time it smells very nasty. I haven't been able to get any reflux meds in her since this started. She continues to fuss so we go outside to calm her down. Brrrr I give her 2 more suppositories and 30 minutes later, she is happy again. Finally at 8pm, she drinks another 2 ounces.
And now they are calling for more 'weather' on Tuesday, the date of her rescheduled GI appt due to 'weather' on the 1st. Wonderful!
