Almost Cruise Time
We are gearing up for our first cruise as a family. Bailey is excited but I wonder how this will affect her birthday since she will turn 3 while out at sea. I am going to bring a couple of small presents for her to open on her birthday and we will let her open the rest with a small party with just the five of us when we get home three days later. She is so excited about her upcoming birthday and turning three and knows she will have presents to open so I really hope she isn't disappointed while on the cruise and not being home to celebrate as we always do.
Her first two year molar is through now and the rest are still bumps on her gums. She didn't sleep well at all last night so I wonder if another one is about to pop through soon. We haven't had anymore spitting up lately so that is really good. She loves to train her puppy dog and I got some of it on video. I'll try to attach a copy or a link to view it from here. I found it quite interesting how the dog (Maggie) understands her speech. Maggie shows some uncertainty but with Bailey's persistence, she will finally obey her.
I need to schedule Bailey's three year check up. I am very curious about her growth. She doesn't have a big belly anymore so I am hoping that means she has slimmed down some and I am also curious about her head growth. Her clothes seem to fit easier around her head now so maybe she is finally growing into her head. I rescheduled her speech evaluation to September after the boys have returned to school. I did that to avoid having them tag along and disrupting her (oh yeah and encouraging her to say stinky butt, stupid, loser, etc.). I would rather them not be there at all. I get so sick of them teaching her these bad words yet they can't seem to get enough of it. It might be time to reintroduce the soap!
She is still heavily into her bottles and takes some solids here and there but nothing consistent at all. She still misses her old bottles and talks about them sometimes. She is so ready for potty training. She has yet to have an accident in her bathing suit and can hold it quite well until we get home to her potty (why can't the pool keep a potty seat for her?). Well, the pooping part is still an issue so we do have some work to do there. I hope this goes fairly easy when we officially begin underwear after the cruise!
Well, that is about it from here. We are heading to the pool in a couple of hours!

I had to laugh out loud about the boys teaching her thoughs words Matthew's big word is poop and he laughs so hard when she repeats it to him. I am sick of the poop word!
