Year End
The last day of the year. It rained all day so we didn't get to do anything special. We returned a bunch of unwanted toys for something a bit more desirable. We went by Big Lots to return a walker for you but didn't see anything to exchange it with so we got a gift card instead. Then we went by Kmart to return a talking dog and got you a pair of Dora Sandals, which you love, and a Dora puzzle. You wore the shoes all night long! Maybe I should have picked up the sneakers instead of the sandals? And the size 5's almost fit you perfectly so we got a size 6 for spring/summer. I can't believe how big your foot is getting already.

You had a wonderful Christmas. You got so many Dora dolls. You got 2 small Dora dolls, and a Huggable Dora and a Friendship Dora that talks/sings, and a big Dora almost as big as you are. You got a bunch of other dolls also. A cabbage patch doll with stroller that you use to take your Dora Dolls on walks with. You got a Dora tricycle, a Dora playhouse, LP playhouse, a couple of Weebles, and some clothes and a jacket. I think a chance to taste so much food has finally sparked some interest in solid foods. You have tried to eat mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, potato soup, cheese pizza, yogurt, chocolate, cheesecake, to name a few. You like to lick salty foods like crackers, bacon, chips. You try so hard to get these foods down but you still end up gagging a lot. I think tonight was the first night you got any real volume in but your formula intake has been way down for quite a while now so maybe you were very hungry and tired of your formula? You still spit up at times. Last time was last Saturday, and again tonight right before bed you spit up on both of us. I keep hoping one day you will learn to keep it all down. Oh and something else, we lost your Motrin syringe to give your Prevacid to you. Since then you have been fighting your meds twice a day so I broke down and bought a replacement today and you still fought and spit out all your medicine. I'm not sure how to keep it in you but your gagging won't get any better unless you can keep your medicine down consistently.
