15 month Check Up

Bailey had her 15 month well child check up today. She was not happy at all to have to go through all that again after Monday's appointment. But we survived! Her hemoglobin was just fine and she got 2 more shots, one of which has left a huge sore on her thigh. Hopefully it won't bother her too much. So far she has not run a fever this time which is a first for her. But she isn't eating quite as much so hopefully her appetite will pick up again soon. She was down another 3 ounces at her appt. today to 22.13 lbs but it could be because she had not eaten recently. Her ped recommended vitamin drops until she is drinking more of the Nutren Jr. but her feeding doctor said she needed 1/2 of a Flintstone complete instead of the drops. I don't think Bailey is going to eat a vitamin. I rdered the Nutren Jr. this morning, 3 cases for $102.00, shipping was free. I jsut hope she will take it okay. Good News: Her head is fine, it was way off the charts until 9 months so she just has a big head. One less thing to worry about.
Her speech seems to be fine so far. She has words such as mama, dada, da (Dora), her version of backpack, hot, Nihow (Chinese for Hello), Ria for Maria, Ni Ni is night night. She is getting really good with coming to me when she poops and telling me she needs changing. She also likes to walk around with a bag (purse) on her arms. I'll put stuff in there when she isn't looking so she can discover it later.
