Stomach bug...or Food Poisoning?
Well by early Wednesday morning, she starts vomiting and dry heaving. So she must have been coming down with a stomach bug, or since it seemed to last so long now I am wondering if it was food poisoning. Although she really doesn't eat food so how can it be food poisoning, but she does get some in her mouth. She still had the diarrhea up until yesterday. So far today she seems fine, still no appetite. She was very fussy during this making me wonder if she had stomach cramping because the suppositories seemed to help her feel so much better and calm down some.

We missed her therapy Thursday. We missed Bradley's therapy on Tuesday. But we kept Bradley's IEP meeting on Thursday since I knew Bailey would sleep through it. By Friday we all had cabin fever so we headed to the mall for a couple of hours. Both of them did great and really enjoyed getting out of the house. Bailey didn't do so well on the soccer field yesterday morning so I kept her home the rest of the day. I think the stomach cramps, diarrhea, and the run down feeling she had was taking its toll on her. She seems so much better today.

During all this, of course we have no improvements. She did attempt some go-gurts, some cheese slices, some cheese off a slice of pizza. The rest I offered was all played in only. I waste so much food trying...hoping she will take a bite to no avail. I'm sure one day my efforts will pay off.

Those two molars are still coming through. I have a feeling it's going to take a while. I can still barely see the bottom one and the top I can feel but not see yet. The last time I tried peeking in there, it caused her to gag and vomit all over both of us so I'm not trying that again. Brushing her teeth has become an absolute nightmare. I'm afraid she will gag and vomit, and she fights and screams the whole time. It didn't used to be like this so I keep fighting with her to get them brushed. I am hoping Shawna can help me with this at our next therapy meeting. She needs her teeth brushed often but I can't get in there good enough. She is also becoming difficult when it's time to wash her hair. She starts crying and screaming once it gets wet. I am thinking/hoping it's only her not wanting water in her face but I worry about her developing other sensory issues.

Her speech is getting a little bit better, although I'm sure still much behind her peers. She tries words like blow, butt (Bradley taught her that one), bowl, bow (she hates hairbows), bottle, but still struggles with bye bye Dada and forget trying bye bye or any other two word combination right now. I have been trying to teach her the 'w' sound but she still struggles with that as well. She also asks for 'De' which could be tea in her sippy or cheese slice. She is getting pretty fast traveling up and down the stairs on her own. We are teaching her pretend play with the FP Little People toys and she seems to enjoy the cars from the airport and pushing buttons but doesn't play with the people much. She likes the animals a little better.
