Normal PH levels

Her ph probe came back showing acid levels all within normal range. So she is now a 'happy spitter'. Although you cannot convince her of that! But I am also finding out that some kids are more sensitive to reflux than others and just the sensation of reflux can cause negative responses. This would help explain her 'issues'. I put a call in to her feeding doctor and ped and haven't had a call back yet. I'm trying to figure out why she responds so well to antacids with her vomiting if her acid levels are fine and how to resolve her coughing (again could be due to the sensitivity of refluxing). Her GI doctor offered to do an endoscopy but I really don't think they will find anything due to her limited diet (looking for allergy - inflammation).
Anyway, that is where we are at. I have all this swarming around in my head and it's exhausting at times. On one hand, I was relieved to hear she didn't need meds for her reflux (how do we get it in her without tube feedings?) but I was also disappointed because it would have given us a quick fix to some of her problems. Usually babies with Bailey's issues are all tube fed by now and yet she continues to thrive on her formula bottles. Not sure how we escaped that one and her GI doctor is stumped.

I haven't mentioned it yet but she also has macrocephaly (enlarged head). I have been doing research on that now (it had taken a back burner until I got to the bottom of this reflux thing) and am now finding a link to vomiting (which she does) and to neural tube defects. I was on mega doses of folic acid to prevent a NTD for her due to a previous NTD birth so now with that link, I am trying to gather more research to see if she needs a CT scan or MRI. I put a call in to her feeding doctor and her ped about both of these and hoping they will get a chance to return the call today.
