An Autumn Cold

Along with the cooler weather (and large temperature changes) comes the germs and cold viruses. So she caught her first cold since April. I can really tell this is a cold as opposed to the usual runny nose she sometimes gets for nothing. She ran a fever Monday night and is doing much better now. Her nose and congestion is clearing up very well. Bradley and Patrick are also fighting the cold bug but seem to be doing pretty well.

Despite the fever and not feeling well, she drank more than usual. She has had close to 40 ounces each day. She spit up twice between 12-3 Monday morning and was slow to start Monday but later in the afternoon (as the fever set in) was drinking 4 ounces every 1 1/2 hours so quickly caught up to almost 40 ounces total for the day. It caught me by surprise because the boys don't usually eat much, if at all, when they are feeling sick. Of course it could be due to her being FF only. We had tried her formula in a sippy Tuesday and she spit it right back out. She does NOT like that at all.
