Summer is over

It's time for an update! Bailey is really trying to eat regular food now. Of course, this also means she doesn't want her bottle and gets very fussy until we can find something that she can feed herself safely. She seems to prefer things opposite of what Bradley did like crackers, cookies, cereal; crunchy stuff that gums to mush after a few seconds. She also does good with sauces and some tiny pieces of noodles here and there. Last week she was drinking close to 40 ounces a day and this week, I'm lucky to get 30 in her. She is also refusing her meds again and that makes dosing her very difficult. Her reflux seems to be doing okay. She spit up some on Sunday but has been doing fine since then. I haven't noticed much gagging either, just some minor gagging.
She is doing very well with some of her toys and figuring them out. She is learning to push buttons to turn it on, put things in, take them out, manipulate them. She still enjoys exploring around the house and now also likes to chase Maria. Her cruising along the furniture is getting quicker but she still doesn't like to walk a lot. She seems to understand some of what we say, just cannot talk back to us yet. She does mimic sounds and gestures so I'm sure it won't be long now. Naps are still a challenge because she is easily disturbed and too much of a busy body to calm down.
