Bailey is getting very good with cruising and realizing that she can walk around furniture and hold onto it. The boys like to race with her on the floor (crawling) going from one end of the living room to the other as fast as they can. She gets a big kick out it because they are down on her level. She is really picking up some speed on her crawling now as a result. They also play with their big die cast cars together and she gets upset if they start playing and she doesn't have one to push around and race with also. So much for any baby dolls! She does very well with saying mamamama when she is looking for me. She goes around saying dadada but I'm still uncertain if she means it for her daddy for not.
Her eating has definitely improved since going on vacation. I'm not sure if it's because her prevacid has been increased, or from her being more active, or even both. But she eats so much better and has a much better appetite as well. She drinks anywhere from 30-38 ounces a day of formula and will eat around 3 ounces of fruit (1 plastic container) and a popsicle or ice cream. Well, today she had 2 popsicles, a few mac n cheese noodles (no gagging!!), 1 container of pineapples/pears, and 37 ounces of formula and 1 serving of oatmeal cereal (in her bottles). I would think it could be a growth spurt but she's been increasing her intake for about 2 weeks now.
Bailey is almost 1 year old now. The whole year has gone by so quickly. It's hard to believe how small she was when she was born and how fast she has grown. She is a little person with her own personality. I can't imagine life without her!
