She opened her mouth!

Sunday, April 23, 2006
It's time to do an update. Bailey is still hoarse from her reflux. I started her on Mylanta Supreme last night and giving it to her 2 times a day now and she isn't crying in pain anymore. So I think it is working better than the tagamet was.

With her hands held tightly together, she is still so scared of anyone other than us. And if someone should talk to her, she cries uncontrollably. She is LOST without Bradley by her side. She squeals with delight whenever he is around. He doesn't even have to pay her any attention at all, she seeks him out. She is twirling around in circles on her toosh but will not try to go anywhere. She scoots backwards on her belly while fussing at us to sit her up. She rolls from front to side very well, but we really haven't given her the opportunity to roll completely over in that position due to her reflux. She loves bubbles and to swing in her Johnnie Jump Up or outside swing. We take her on daily walks in the stroller around the neighborhood. She will carry on a conversation with Maria (our cat) hoping Maria will take notice and stop by for a minute. She can stand alone briefly before collapsing. We have not offered her anything to try to pull up on yet. What's the big rush? She enjoys playing the dropping game and watch us pick up what she throws over. Sometimes, she will look to see where it landed.

Watch out for birthday plans coming soon! I need to start making arrangements. We have less than 4 months to go.
